I recently received a tube of cream called NuElle that said it had 25 Flub Busters. I googled Flub Buster, and that is not a term anywhere! Go ahead and try it! The phrase “Flub Buster” should be trademarked by Skin QR Organics. Wait, did you guys mean “Flab Buster”?
I used it for a couple weeks on my inner thighs and back of my thighs, missing some days here and there. When I was using it, I noticed that my skin looked tighter and less flubby. I mean flabby. The appearance of my inner thighs looked smoother and were definitely more moisturized.
The cream has real caffeine (Coffea Arabica) in it, I was scared to try it because I didn’t know if the caffeine would penetrate enough into my bloodstream to cause me to be wired. I know that’s funny…maybe? Well lately I don’t tolerate caffeine really well so that is why I try not to have any, in any form. The back says, “Due to diuretic effect this product might cause, we do not recommend this product for use while pregnant.” I’m not pregnant but the word diuretic made me nervous.
I applied it the first time and I didn’t feel any caffeine wired feeling. My skin got a little warm though. I was scared again thinking my skin was going to burn off or something. I have high anxiety, so don’t mind me. I read the ingredients and felt better emotionally because they were mostly organic plants/herbs/flowers. Until I got to one of the last ingredients. Phenoxyethanol. Phenoxyethanol is at a rating of 4 (from 1-10) on the overall hazard scale as seen here at Environmental Working Group’s website. It is known to cause organ system toxicity. WHAT!? Come on QR Organics! All the rest of the ingredients are good though. So it’s not a total throw away. If you use this a couple days before the beach on your problem areas, your skin will look more tight. If you use every day for life, then I’d be worried for you because of the Phenoxyethanol. The smell is refreshing. The consistency was like lotion and not greasy, so that was a plus.
Excuse the glare, if you want to read the bottle better, go to their Amazon page here
If you are pregnant, DO NOT USE!
